As summer begins to wind down, we want to thank all of our wonderful patients for allowing us to be part of your health journey.

It's Time to Build Your Immune System for Fall

Did you know that in Classical Chinese Medicine, late summer and early fall are considered one of the most important times of year to strengthen the body's defenses before cold and flu season begins?

Rather than waiting until you're sick, acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and moxibustion can help support your body's natural immune function and prepare you for the seasonal changes ahead.

Many of our patients choose this time of year to:

  • Strengthen their immune system naturally
  • Reduce the frequency of seasonal illnesses
  • Support children heading back to school
  • Prepare teachers, healthcare workers, and busy parents for the fall season
  • Increase energy and reduce stress before schedules become hectic

Now is the perfect time to schedule your immunity-boosting treatments before cold and flu season arrives.

🌿 Healthy Late Summer Tips

Small changes this time of year can make a big difference.

🍎 Nourish Your Body

Choose warm, nourishing meals when possible and begin reducing excessive cold foods and sugary drinks as the weather changes.

😴 Prioritize Sleep

Quality sleep is one of the most powerful ways to support your immune system and overall health.

🚢 Stay Active

Even a daily walk can improve circulation, reduce stress, and strengthen your body's natural resilience.

🌼 Don't Ignore Seasonal Allergies

Fall allergies are common. Acupuncture may help support healthy sinus function and reduce allergy symptoms naturally before they become severe.

πŸŽ’ Back to School & Back to Work

Busy schedules often lead to increased stress, muscle tension, headaches, fatigue, and lowered immunity. Acupuncture is a great way to stay ahead of these issues before they interfere with your daily life.

You finally sit down after a busy day. Dinner is finished, the house is quiet, and you’re ready to enjoy a book or watch your favorite show. Then it starts—that uncomfortable feeling in your legs. You shift positions, stretch, and eventually get up to walk around. Moving helps, but when you sit down again, the sensation returns. For people living with restless legs syndrome, this can be a familiar evening routine. The frustration often begins well before bedtime. Why quiet moments can feel so restless Restless legs syndrome, or RLS, typically involves an urge to move the legs, often accompanied by sensations described as crawling, pulling, aching, or an internal restlessness. Symptoms tend to begin or worsen during rest, become more noticeable in the evening or at night, and improve temporarily with movement. That is why sitting through a movie, taking a long car ride, or relaxing on the couch can become uncomfortable. RLS can interfere with the ordinary moments you look forward to—the chance to unwind, enjoy time with family, or simply sit comfortably.
